This year The Cellar Project has helped a massive 21 people with moderate to severe or enduring mental health problems back into paid employment!! With the economy struggling we are proud of all our clients who despite adversity have fought back and found themselves paid employment in jobs they enjoy. One client said “Thank you for all your support and assistance in getting me back into employment…Never underestimate the value of the work you do!” While another said “It’s better than the Job Centre!”
Alongside this we have also successfully supported 29 people into voluntary work. 56 people have accessed out internal education classes such as Literacy, Numeracy and IT in collaboration with Shipley college and also Stepping Stones, our personal development and job search course. Not forgetting the 15 people who have accessed external education courses through outside agencies and colleges.
The Client Services team continue to work flexibly to ensure all clients receive the right componenets of the service to suit their individual need. And of course the skillshops provide an invaluable amount of help, allowing clients to gain routine, socialise and learn new skills. All of which helps people back on the road to recovery!!
