Tuesday 1 December is Giving Tuesday.
Giving Tuesday is about giving people opportunities to help the causes they care about at a time of year when the pressure to shop till you drop can be overwhelming.
We need help with an exciting new plan to transform an area of scrub at our Shipley headquarters into an amazing new therapeutic horticulture space and we’re asking our friends to make a donation to help us. The new growing space will give people experiencing mental health problems the chance to cultivate and nurture organic fruit and vegetables, flowers, plants and herbs.
We’ll be working with Bradford Works and Shipley College, and participants will have the chance to gain experience of amenity horticulture, working in communal parks and gardens, and accredited qualifications in Horticulture to help them grow a brighter future.
To make Growing Brighter Futures a reality will cost us around £20,000 in 2015/16.
Please help us by making a donation, you can donate online at MyDonate.
