Work Place Support Employment Specialist

Shipley and Bradford district

We are looking to recruit a Work Place Support Employment Specialist to join our Pathway to Employment Retention team. The service delivers high quality employment related support to people with mental health challenges who may be in work, absent from work or hoping to secure training, volunteering, or paid employment.

To succeed in this role, you will have knowledge of the employment environment and use your experience to help build clients confidence, skills and knowledge to gain or remain in employment. Main duties include initial action planning and goal setting through to interview preparation. You will also work with employers to keep people in employment and work closely with other Health and Social Care professionals to ensure their employment support is joined up and of a high quality. Your awareness or lived experience of mental health is essential to support clients to build their confidence and breakdown barriers.

Peer Support Worker (HOPE)

Shipley and Bradford district

We are looking an experienced Peer Support Worker to join our HOPE team. You will work closely with professionals and organisation across the Bradford District to one-to-one support for individuals in a recovery-focused and person-centred way, using your own lived experience of recovery from mental health problems, as appropriate, to inspire and support others. You will manage your own caseload to ensure that client notes are recorded in an accurate and timely manner, working in line with all relevant safeguarding policies and procedures. You will have experience of working with people with mental health difficulties and challenging behaviour and have knowledge and/or lived experience of the challenges facing people who have difficulties relating to their mental health.

Due to the nature of the work, it would be preferred if applicants can speak Urdu and/or Punjabi to enable them to understand instructions and communicate effectively with the individuals we support.

Crisis Support Worker – outreach (Safe Spaces)

Shipley and Bradford district

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our Safe Spaces team as Crisis Support Workers. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering vital outreach crisis support to children, young people, and families (CYPF) across the Bradford District and Craven area. You will provide immediate, in-the-moment crisis support to children, young people, and families experiencing mental health distress and offer outreach support in a place that suits the individual such as school or at home. You should have a sound understanding of how to support people in mental distress and be able to use various approaches to support individuals to manage the feelings of crisis. You will have experience of working with vulnerable people or, with children and young people and be passionate about helping people. Operational Service Manager (Safe Spaces)

Bradford

Safe Spaces are looking for an Operational Service Manager to play a key role in leading Safe Spaces day-to-day, ensuring the service consistently delivers high-quality, compassionate support. Employed by Bradford District and Craven Mind and working closely with The Cellar Trust’s Quality Service Manager, you’ll oversee the smooth running of our hubs in Bradford, Shipley and Keighley, along with some community-based outreach.

You’ll lead from the front—supporting and developing a dedicated team, strengthening partnerships, and driving the service forward. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends operational oversight with big-picture thinking. You’ll be instrumental in creating a positive culture, where staff feel valued and the people we support feel safe, respected, and empowered.
