Working for us

Working for The Cellar Trust isn’t about having a job – it’s about changing and saving lives. We are a mental health charity that supports people across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven, delivering brilliant services to give people a helping hand with their mental health. Whatever your role is you will have the chance to make your mark and see the impact of your work.

We are a 100+ strong team of staff and volunteers and our aim is simple. We are working towards a future where good mental health and well-being is prevalent across all our communities. We have a diverse range of roles requiring a range variety of skills and experience but we are united by our values and our passion for mental health.

You can expect a busy, energetic place of work and a team that pulls together to help each other out whatever their role is. Every person forms an essential part of the jigsaw and makes an essential important contribution. Working for a charity comes with plenty of challenges but lots of fun and the ability to make a huge difference.

We are a lovely team (even if we do say so ourselves), and we’re always on the lookout for talented individuals who are passionate about mental health to join us, and that’s where you come in.

Staff Wellbeing Group & Peer Support Group

Our Staff Wellbeing Group organises the Christmas party, monthly fuddles and seasonal after work get-togethers. Our monthly staff Peer Support Group is something we take pride in, as we want to ensure our team can speak openly and freely about their own mental health in a safe and supportive environment.

The Cellar Trust social space, staff room & wellbeing room

We have a social space on site which is used by clients, members of the public, and staff. It’s a great place to meet and have a quick coffee break. We also have a staff room with a microwave and tea/coffee making facilities, and a wellbeing room that you can use for prayer, reading, or you can even get a few minutes in on our exercise bike.

Diversity, equality & inclusion

The Cellar Trust believes in equity and we celebrate diversity. We are an inclusive workplace, where everyone is welcome and supported to be themselves. We are a Disability Confident employer and offer a guaranteed interview to candidates with a disability who meet all the essential criteria in the person specification.
